We spent a wonderful week staying with the Galvin cousins for Thanksgiving – and of course, Polliwog came with us! This photo was taken at the dinner table – nearly the whole Pawlewicz family was there. Thankyou to Bob and Noretta for inviting us and to the Galvins for taking such good care of us […]

Pop was a Francophile regarding food, culture and Napoleon – but was lousy at French pronunciation despite 20 years on the French Canadian border!  I thought someone would stop me from taking the picture….no one did!

During a visit from our friend Shelley Fracalossi from Plattsburgh, we took a visit to the Saatchi Gallery in London. A couple actually saw us take this photo and asked us what we were doing. We explained – they thought it was cool!

Gettysburg Battlefield – Pennsylvania

The plate balancing on one of the cannons at Gettysburg Battlefield in Pennsylvania – Pop had a great interest in the U.S. Civil and Revolutionary Wars. Good memories of scampering around Little Round Top with him a few years ago, getting him to share battlefield secrets. He also confessed to pretending to be a ghost […]
